I was under the impression that video games rewarded good school behavior. Imagine my surprise when I mailed my school marks to Microsoft HQ and did not receive any game tokens for my efforts. The letter I received back was from a very confused customer service rep. He wrote things like "Why did you send this?," "What are game tokens?" "You are free to play games whenever you like."
I believe Chuck E. Cheese has set me up for failure in life. For years I have been sending them my report card and receiving game tokens. These tokens could be traded in for chances to play X-Men Arcade and Simpsons Arcade. Now, I am being told that I don't have to do that. One can simply purchase these arcade games for $9.99.
Why did I work so hard in school, Microsoft? How am I supposed to connect good grades with chances to play Digdug and Mr. Do!?
