CM Punk Returns to Impact Wrestling to Teach AEW and WWE a Lesson

TORONTO- In a stunning upset that no one could see coming, hot commodity, CM Punk decided to restart his wrestling career at Impact! (formerly TNA) to teach an important lesson to AEW and WWE.

"They were being spiteful and mean to each other. It was beginning to be a game of dirty tricks. I had to teach them that I am not a piece of meat to be thrown around." CM Punk related.

Impact Wrestling welcomed CM Punk with open arms. He has been signed up for a three-year exclusive contract. Josh Matthews, Scott D'Amore, and Brian Cage immediately sat down with the triple-A star to discuss how soon he can take the World Heavyweight Championship belt.

"CM Punk is thrilled to be wrestling in a venue where he can be comfortable. He will debut in the St. Louie's Bar and Food venue in Ottawa. There will most likely be a sold-out crowd of two hundred wrestling fans." Scott D'Amore remarked.

Most people don't know that CM Punk had a short stint at TNA back in their early years. It was that relationship that held him close to the company. Although he isn't returning to the same company as before, management has promised that CM will be salaried as close to six digits as possible.

"It's not about the money or the fans," CM Punk stated, "This is my lesson to those goobers [Cody Rhodes and Vince McMahon] not to treat me like some trophy wrestler. I just want to be in a company that will give me what I want: one wrestling match a month before two hundred or more people."
