The Young Bucks have one of the most interesting and simple contracts in pro wrestling history. Their contract states that "We Always Win."
In the negotiation talk with Cody Rhodes, they had no interest in salary, screen time, story development. They only wanted the assurance that they would win every match.
Cody Rhodes, while perplexed, was more than happy to grant them their simple wish. "I was ready to lavish the boys in money and exclusive benefits, but they only wanted the ability to win every match. Sometimes they refuse their paycheck, knowing that their greatest need was already met."
The Young Bucks are one of the top tag teams in the world. It's not such a stretch that they defeat every tag team that steps into the ring with them. Matt Jackson was able to explain the finer details of his contract.
"Do we get paid? I am not sure. Are we trending in the wrestling circuit? Maybe. Are we going to win every match in the AEW ring? Absolutely."
