Nintendo teases the date that The Switch will fail and be discontinued

At the Games Emporium in San Francisco, California, the crowd was roaring for Nintendo's creative director, Steven Phelbin, to hit the stage.

After the crowd quieted, the lights went dark and a strange date flashed on the screen. March 2019 was displayed.

Phelbin proudly oogled the mysterious number and said, "we are planning to shutdown the The Switch on this date due to bad sales, poor 3rd party support and the fact that everyone still owns their 3DS."

The crowd had many questions, but were treated with movies of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
