Nintendo developer vaguely remembers a Halo-esque shooter with a female lead

Roy Sorbinson, lead gaming developer for Nintendo, had recalled Nintendo once having their own first person shooter type space game. He remembered that it was kind of like Bungie's Halo, but it had more puzzles.

Turning to his colleague in the next cubicle, Ted, he inquired about the mystery game, "Did we ever make a first person shooter space game that had a female protagonist?"

Ted searched his mind for the longest time and stared blankly back, "You mean like Halo?"

"Yea, but I think ours had more puzzles and a targeting system."

Ted smiled, "You're thinking of Legend of Zelda."

Still, Roy was not satisfied with the answer, "No, I am pretty sure there was space and gadgets. I think you fight a big pterodactyl."

"There is that orange cyborg lady in the Super Smash games," Ted added, "But that is just a bonus character to the roster. Are you sure you are not thinking of Zelda?"

Immediately Roy flicked his fingers, "Prime Federation Force on the 3DS!"

"Oh that game did average. I am glad we didn't do much with that," Ted smirked.

Roy laughed playfully, returned to his cubicle and continued working on the new installment for Mario Party.
