Torbjorn is an Overwatch character that is setting ripples and waves into the male community. He has a massive beard and mustache, which is an unrealistic bar for male beauty.
"First it was Hanzo's metallic thigh gap, now we have to grow beards like flippin' wood elves. It's not fair."
Blizzard has received some very compelling cease and desist letters asking for the character to be adjusted toward more modest proportions.
"I have my girlfriend asking me constantly, 'when are you going to get a twelve pound white beard that can be braided into two French braids?' She doesn't look at me the same. I offered to get a giant hook on my hand, but that is not good enough."
When will game developers finally wise up and decide to show off a man the way God intended, instead of feeding this stereotype that we need beards that can hold cast iron cuffs?
