AJ Styles introduces 2050 splash

They said it couldn't be done. They said it was scientifically impossible. But they don't call him the Phenomenal One for nothing. AJ perfected a 2050 degree front flip on Smackdown last Thursday.

The move starts with him jumping into the air. Then he creates a small tornado vortex with his body. Finally he turns into a spinning g-force that is capable of burning molecules at alarming rates.

"I kept blacking out at mach 3," AJ admits shyly, "I finally figured out how to hit that speed and force without breaking the sound barrier and causing centripetal whiplash to the audience."

He has only tried the move on live TV once. Roman Reigns received the 2050 splash off a 50 foot ladder. Once the move was over Roman Reigns immediately tapped out despite it not being a submission hold.

"When AJ hit me with the splash I actually got transported back in time to when I was having a match with Triple H," Roman Reigns recalls.
